THE LATEST
Above, I've added the cover of Issue #2 of the Arkansas Cannabis Times. I have been working as the digital editor of the magazine's website since November 2024. This role has been incredibly challenging and fulfilling, allowing me to learn new programs such as Divi and BlueLena, which I use for website building and email marketing. I am not just focusing on technical skills, though. I write new content for the site regularly, flexing the creative muscle; build relationships with cannabis industry players in the state of Arkansas to coordinate content collaboration; and work with the rest of the Arkansas Cannabis Times team to drive the movement for medical marijuana education and advocacy.
Pictured above is the cover of The Suite Life Issue #2. I have had the opportunity to produce this magazine in partnership with The Arkansas Times for their client, Suite 443, a dispensary in Hot Springs. This magazine represents two months of work organizing a team of writers, photographers, and one excellent designer. I also wrote several articles that are included, and the magazine copy (unless explicitly attributed to a contributing writer.) It is the first time since I graduated college that I have been able to embrace the role of an editor-in-chief and I am so grateful for the experience. The process of creating a magazine on a professional level has developed my editorial skills as a writer, a curator, and a leader. Click here to see the magazine in PDF form.
Pictured above is the cover of the latest issue of ABILITY Magazine. I am proud to share that my article, "New Blind and Low Vision Navigation Technology", was included. I had the pleasure of interviewing Susannah O'Brien of Hearsee Mobility and learning more about how Hearsee tech helps the blind population integrate into their local communities.
